Located directly on the Danube, the museum is the new gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Regensburg. The museum’s permanent exhibition traces Bavaria’s path to becoming a modern state. One thousand objects and multimedia installations vividly present the history of Bavaria on the upper floor.
On Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, both the participants’ lunch and subsequent poster session will take place at the Salzstadel. Weisse-Lamm-Gasse 1, 93047 Regensburg.
The Salzstadel is only a short walk (approx. 350 m) away from the “Haus der Bayerischen Geschichte” and impresses the visitors with its combination of historic backdrop and subtly modern interior decor.
