The Symposium takes place on both days in the Herzogssaal. Domplatz 3, 93047 Regensburg
Located in the heart of Regensburg between Domplatz and Kornmarkt, the former ducal court is in an absolutely exposed location – in the middle of the historic old town next to the cathedral. The Duke’s Hall, which essentially dates from the early Middle Ages, was redesigned by the Wittelsbach family around 1220 and has been preserved to this day. Measuring 10 x 20 meters, its column-free design and a ceiling height of almost 5 meters, it is of monumental proportions. It has served the Bavarian dukes as a meeting place since 976 and is the oldest preserved representative building in the Bavarian state.
The Salzstadel is only a short walk (approx. 350 m) away from the Herzogssaal and impresses the visitors with its combination of historic backdrop and subtly modern interior decor.
